EET Europarts strengthens POS & Auto-ID business with the appointment of EMEA Director

As part of an ambitious and targeted strategy to become one of the leading POS & Auto-ID distributors in Europe by 2019, Danish broadliner and sparepart specialist EET Europarts has hired Richard Grégoire as its EMEA Director to accelerate the execution.

A string of acquisitions over the past year has consolidated EET Europarts' position as one-stop-shop distributor in the POS & Auto-ID business. The company distributes a wide range of the most important and largest brands in the POS industry, and EET Europarts' total POS & Auto-ID assortment today includes products, equipment and systems for POS, AIDC, RFID and mobile solutions. The product range is targeted at retail shops and chain stores, medical and healthcare, warehousing, transport, logistics and industry in general.

"I am exceedingly pleased with the development of our POS & Auto ID business over the past few years", says Group CEO John Thomas, EET Group. "We have accumulated rich experience in the business, and we have achieved significant organic growth as well as acquisitive growth with four acquisitions in 2016 alone." To continue growing the POS & Auto-ID business and scaling the success, EET Europarts has chosen to engage Richard Grégoire, an experienced EMEA Director to be heading the development of the POS & Auto ID business going forward.

EET Europarts cooks with WeGrill

EET Europarts acquires Spanish market leader in computer connectivity

Spain: Danish broadliner and sparepart specialist EET Europarts continues its acquisition spree with another prey, cabling and connectivity specialist Import Cable. The cost of the acquisition has not been unveiled. The distributor will be integrated into EET Europart's Spanish branch, headed by Miguel Cervera Andersen. Import Cable is based in Madrid and has 20 years of experience in the computer connectivity market. The company is a trusted supplier for installers of information technology throughout Spain. As official distributor of major brands Import Cable has continually added new high quality products to meet the needs of its customers, keeping in stock more than 4000 products, in cables, racks and connectivity devices for immediate delivery. The acquisition is part of EET Europarts' ambitious growth strategy counting more than 30 successful acquisitions over the past 20 years, clearly demonstrating the group's ability to create significant synergies from mergers.

VisioStore acquired by EET Europarts

Finland: Danish broadliner and sparepart specialist EET Europarts has further strengthened its AV offer through the acquisition of VisioStore, a Finland-based Pro AV & digital signage specialist, which represents the third acquisition by EET Europarts in the last two months. VisioStore, which will be merged into EET Europarts local business, specializes in electronic presentation technology, and the employees are highly skilled and experienced AV professionals. The business includes distribution agreements with wellknown AV manufacturers and brands like: NEC Display, Optoma, Casio, Infocus, Lumens, PTN Electronics and CleverTouch, and also other innovative and new AV brands. The clientele includes IT retail companies as well as AV system integrators, and the products are sold to corporate and educational institutions.

EET Europarts acquires niche distributor Lys & AV-Teknikk

Norway: Danish sparepart specialist and broadliner EET Europarts has acquired for an undisclosed amount AV specialist Lys & AV-Teknikk. The acquisition is part of EET Europarts' ambitious growth strategy including more than 30 successful acquisitions over the past 20 years.

CEO Finn Kvalheim, Lys & AV-Teknikk, is very pleased with the acquisition and says: "For strategic reasons Lys & AV-Teknikk needs to become part of a larger group, and I am very glad to have found the perfectly right new owner for the company which we have build up over many years. Seeing how well EET Europarts has succeeded in the Pro AV & Digital Signage business, I feel confident that we have made the right choice. EET Europarts has a unique and highly efficient distribution model, and in combination with the competences and strong product and sales knowledge from our staff, I am sure we will evolve and grow significantly within EET Europarts."

EET Europarts has in recent years developed its Pro AV & Digital Signage business substantial, based on partly organic growth and partly on acquisitions. Today the company is one of the largest Scandinavian Pro AV & Digital Signage distributors with well-known brands like NEC, Benq, SMS, Grandview, OneLan, Polycom and many others.
